Two of these per vehicle. These are the blocks that fit into the bottom rail of the picture frame and allow for the location and anchoring of lower suspension fixings.
Having been unavailable for many years these have now been remanufactured and re-engineered by Martin Robey and are made at our premises in the United Kingdom. Improvements made on the original design include:
- These are milled from a solid bar of high-strength steel rather than being cast iron as per the original
- The 'flat foot' is thicker than original and incorporates a radius where it meets the main body - both changes having been made to stop this piece snapping off which was a weakness of the original design
- The 'flat foot' incorporates a radiused cut out for the mounting bolt which allows the use of a socket to tighten the bolt - something that was not possible with the original design.
