Subcontract Sheet Metal work Company Martin Robey Engineering has a comprehensive range of Manual (Fly), Hydraulic and Mechanical Presses capable of pressing up to 750-ton triple-action. Based in the heart of England, we have over 40 years of experience in metal presswork.

Martin Robey Engineering has been producing Classic Jaguar & Jensen Automotive parts for over 40 years which are pressed, lasered, folded, hand-finished and painted on-site in the midlands.

Within the Classic Automotive sector, Martin Robey Engineering has been developing Custom press tooling in-house using our CNC Machining and Tool Making services to provide unrivalled services within one building. 

Current Products

Take a look at our Classic Jaguar E-Type Rear End Assembly which has been manufactured in-house at Martin Robey Engineering Limited. This single product alone uses 14 sets of press Tooling which have all been manufactured by ourselves, The flatbed CNC lasered blanks have been formed using several presses including the 750 Tonne British Clearing and then laser profiled using our 5-axis(3D) laser. The Components are then Resistance Welded together in a Jig to form the complete assembly. Finally, they are painted in-house with an etch primer ready for shipment. This Martin Robey Engineering product is just one of thousands pressed in-house.
