Martin Robey Engineering Limited, has for many years been acknowledged as the major player in the manufacture and supply of parts for the Classic Jaguar and Jensen marques.
The unique body building facility for E type Jaguars, is world renowned and the Motor Vehicle Engineering Department is acknowledged as providing a comprehensive and quality service for classic Jaguars and Jensen Motor cars. The most important E Types 77 RW, The First Production E Type and HDU 555, the last E Type produced were restored at the works for the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT).

| Repair and servicing of Classic Jaguars and Jensens is provided for from minor repairs and servicing through to complete renovation of major units such as engine, gearbox, brakes and axle units. Stainless steel exhausts can be purchased and fitted by prior arrangement while you wait. A full vehicle collection and delivery service is available. |

| We have been manufacturing Body Shell s for E Type Jaguars for over twenty years now, which has given us unrivalled experience in this product. By constantly monitoring the build quality and by using the body shells ourselves for our Total Restorations we are completely confident in original appearance and performance of the Unit. |

| Hundreds of Body Shells have been supplied to enthusiasts and professional restoration businesses around the world, (with many used on Concourse de Elegance winners). Using our own manufactured components that use the correct gauge material and being assembled using a range of comprehensive jigs to ensure accuracy and build quality with Professional spot welding equipment being used gives an original appearance and sound structure. |

| The units are lead loaded and Cleaned back with Doors, boot lid and bonnet gapped, trial fitting of lights, bumpers, door chromes etc, is carried out to ensure a quality fit prior to paint. |

| Above all the overall build quality attention and authentic appearance, with high quality fit bonnet, doors etc., give the body shell extremely flowing lines as originally intended. |

System Rebuild
Body shells available in several different builds
System One
This is a completely new Monocoque (body shell) with new bulkhead supplied and fitted.
This system is for owners who have suitable doors and boot lid available for use.
The cost includes for the welding of the unit fitting of the doors and boot lid, gapping these lead loading and cleaning back. Certain chrome work and fittings are trial fitted.
The cost of repairing doors, boot lid or fixtures and fittings is not included in the system rebuild cost. |

System Two
This is as "Sytem One" but new doors and boot lid are supplied and fitted.
System Three
This is as "System Two" but with a new Bonnet which is supplied and fitted. |

Bonnets
We also undertake fitting the customers Bonnet as an additional cost to System One and Two processes.
Any repairs necessary to the bonnet or engine frames are not allowed for in the System cost.
Bulkheads
In all cases the bulkhead from the original vehicle can be used after reconditioning, (at additional cost) with a reduction on the System cost for not using a new bulkhead.
The cost of any fixtures locks, hinges, engines frames are not included in any of the "System Rebuilds" prices, parts from the donor vehicle can be used and any parts that are beyond serviceable life can be obtained from us at the current selling price. |
